The HYTE Y60 Midi Tower Gaming PC Case in Red and Black is designed for builders who want maximum visual impact within a compact enthusiast chassis. Its distinctive three-piece cornerless tempered-glass design provides an expansive panoramic view of internal hardware, allowing graphics cards, cooling components and RGB lighting to remain clearly visible from multiple angles.
A dual-chamber internal structure separates the main motherboard and graphics hardware from the power supply, storage drives and cable-management area. This layout helps keep the visible chamber cleaner and less cluttered while allowing cables and less visually important components to be routed discreetly into the rear section.
Constructed from durable steel, ABS and tempered glass, the Y60 combines structural rigidity with a premium showcase aesthetic. Its approximately 60-litre volume provides generous internal space for modern gaming hardware while maintaining a distinctive footprint that fits comfortably into premium desktop environments.
Vertical GPU Mounting & Cold-Floor Intake Cooling
The HYTE Y60 is purpose-built around dedicated vertical graphics card presentation and includes a colour-matched PCIe 4.0 riser cable with a custom canopy cover. Three full-height vertical expansion slots provide the space required to showcase large graphics cards prominently behind the panoramic tempered-glass panels.
Graphics cards up to 375 mm in length can be installed, while CPU air coolers measuring up to 160 mm high are supported. These clearances make the Y60 suitable for powerful gaming components while maintaining the distinctive internal presentation that defines the chassis design.
HYTE’s cold-floor cooling concept places two pre-installed 120 mm intake fans beneath the main chamber, directing cool air upward toward the vertically mounted GPU. A pre-installed 120 mm rear exhaust fan helps remove warm air, while additional side and top radiator support up to 360 mm provides flexibility for high-performance liquid cooling systems.
Front I/O Connectivity & Toolless Storage Bays
The front I/O panel provides convenient access to modern peripherals and external storage devices. A high-speed USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port is joined by two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, making it easy to connect portable SSDs, controllers, keyboards, mice and other frequently used accessories.
A combined 3.5 mm audio jack provides quick front-panel connectivity for compatible gaming headsets and audio equipment. In the rear chamber, toolless drive sleds support up to two 3.5-inch hard drives or as many as four 2.5-inch solid-state drives, offering flexible storage expansion while keeping drives hidden from the primary showcase area.
Integrated dust filters positioned across the top, side and bottom ventilation areas help reduce dust accumulation around internal components and cooling hardware. Together with the dual-chamber layout and directional airflow system, these filters support cleaner long-term operation and easier system maintenance.
