Intel Core i5-12400F
Six Performance-cores and twelve threads on Intel's 12th Gen architecture, with 18MB of Intel Smart Cache and a boost clock of up to 4.4GHz, all inside an efficient 65W power envelope.
It is one of the most popular gaming processors ever made for a simple reason: six fast cores is the sweet spot for modern games, and this chip delivers them at a very sensible price. Paired with the RTX 3050 at 1080p it has plenty in hand, so the graphics card is never held back. The F model has no built-in graphics, which is why it sits alongside a dedicated card.
GeForce RTX 3050 6GB
This is the part that draws the picture. Built on NVIDIA's Ampere architecture with 6GB of GDDR6 video memory, it is a proper entry point into PC gaming, tuned for smooth 1080p play in esports titles and popular releases.
It brings RTX features to a budget build. Ray tracing cores handle realistic lighting, shadows and reflections, and Tensor cores power NVIDIA DLSS, which renders at a lower resolution and rebuilds the image sharp with AI to lift frame rates. It is also very efficient, drawing its power straight from the motherboard slot, so it runs cool and quiet.
Intel Laminar RM1
Intel's own cooler, designed specifically for its 12th Gen processors. A low-profile heatsink and fan sit directly on the processor and move heat away quietly and reliably.
It is built to match the i5-12400F's 65W rating, so the processor stays within safe temperatures through everyday use and long gaming sessions, and its compact size keeps the Edge Mini's interior clean and uncluttered. High-performance thermal paste is applied by hand on every build.
ASUS PRIME H610M-A WIFI D4
The board everything plugs into. ASUS's Prime line is built around dependable power delivery and straightforward, well-laid-out controls on Intel's LGA 1700 platform.
The graphics card sits in a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and there are two M.2 slots, so there is room for a second fast drive later. Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 are built in with antennas supplied, and there is Intel Gigabit Ethernet for when you want a wired connection. Aura Sync RGB headers tie the lighting together.
16GB DDR4 at 3200MHz
Memory is where the game keeps everything it might need in the next few seconds. 16GB is the comfortable standard for gaming today, with room for Discord and a browser running in the background.
It is fitted as two 8GB sticks running in dual-channel at 3200MHz with tight CL16 timings, which doubles the bandwidth to the processor compared with a single stick and helps keep frame rates steady. The clean, non-RGB design puts the budget into speed and reliability where it matters.
500GB NVMe M.2 SSD

Vida Edge Mini mATX
The reason the Sword looks like a flagship. A compact cube chassis with tempered glass on the front, side and corner, so the build is on show from almost every angle rather than hidden behind a single window.
Three ARGB PWM fans come fitted, two reverse-blade fans on the motherboard side and one at the rear, all run from an ARGB hub with its own remote so you can change the lighting without touching software. The power supply sits to the side, out of the main compartment, keeping the view clean. Up front you get USB-C, USB-A and a combined audio jack, and there is room inside for a graphics card up to 42cm long if you upgrade later.
Corsair CX650 650W
Clean, steady power for everything above from one of the most trusted names in PC power, with an 80 PLUS Bronze efficiency rating.
650W is far more than the i5-12400F and RTX 3050 need, so the supply is never working hard and its thermally controlled 120mm fan stays quiet. That spare capacity is also what makes this build easy to upgrade: there is plenty of room for a much more powerful graphics card later.

In competitive titles this is where the Sword shines. Valorant, Counter-Strike 2 and Fortnite all run at or past what a 144Hz monitor can display on competitive settings, which keeps motion clear and your aim consistent.
Step up to the heavier releases and the RTX 3050 still gets you playing. Modern AAA and open-world games run at 1080p on low to medium settings, and DLSS lifts the frame rate further in supported titles.

Why does the i5-12400F need a separate graphics card?
The "F" at the end of the name means the processor has no integrated graphics. That is not a drawback here, because every Sword V1i ships with a dedicated GeForce RTX 3050, which is far more powerful than any built-in graphics. Just make sure your monitor is plugged into the graphics card rather than the motherboard.
Is the Intel Laminar RM1 cooler enough?
Yes. The Laminar RM1 is Intel's own cooler, designed for 12th Gen processors like the 65W i5-12400F. It keeps temperatures in check through everyday use and long gaming sessions, and we apply high-performance thermal paste by hand on every build.
Does this graphics card support Ray Tracing and DLSS?
Yes. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 has dedicated ray tracing cores for realistic lighting, shadows and reflections, plus Tensor cores that run NVIDIA DLSS. DLSS uses AI to upscale your games, giving a boost to frame rates without losing image sharpness.

The motherboard has a second M.2 slot free and SATA connections for extra drives, so adding more later is simple.
