BattleBox Pro 121Gaming PC
A UK-built entry into serious gaming, pairing the AMD Ryzen 7 5700X with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060, cooled by a 240mm RGB liquid loop inside a striking dual-chamber panoramic chassis with seamless glass panels.
It is built for smooth, high-refresh 1080p gaming with the headroom to push into 1440p, all without the price tag of a flagship build. Compact, well-ventilated, and assembled, tested and backed by our expert technicians here in the UK.
Inside the Build
No filler parts and no surprises. Here is what each piece does and why it is in here.
AMD Ryzen 7 5700X
Eight cores, sixteen threads, boost speeds to 4.6GHz and 36MB of combined cache, on the well-proven AM4 platform.
This is where a lot of value gets packed in. It has the multitasking muscle to run your game, Discord and a stream without stumbling, and it does that inside a 65W power envelope, so the whole system stays cool and quiet rather than working hard to keep up.
GeForce RTX 5060 8GB
This is the part that draws the picture. It is built on NVIDIA's Blackwell architecture with 8GB of GDDR6 memory dedicated to the job.
Fourth-generation ray tracing cores handle realistic lighting, shadows and reflections, while fifth-generation Tensor Cores unlock DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation. In practice that means AI reconstructs and generates extra frames, so you get a big jump in smoothness without turning your settings down.
240mm RGB Liquid Cooler
A closed liquid loop with two static-pressure 120mm fans and a proper radiator, moving heat away from the processor faster than any air cooler this size could.
That means the 5700X can hold its top speed through long sessions instead of easing off once things warm up. The customisable RGB across the pump and fans also gives the build the show-through-glass look the chassis is designed for.
ASUS TUF Gaming A520M-Plus WiFi
The board everything plugs into. TUF is ASUS's durability line, built with sturdier components and steadier power delivery than a standard budget board.
It is a micro-ATX layout purpose-built for AMD Ryzen, with built-in Wi-Fi 5, fast M.2 storage support, and reinforced PCIe SafeSlots to protect against wear on the graphics card slot. A solid, no-nonsense foundation for the rest of the build.
16GB DDR4 at 3200MHz
Memory is where the game keeps everything it might need in the next few seconds. 16GB is the sweet spot for gaming and everyday multitasking, running Discord and a browser alongside your game without a fight for room.
At 3200MHz with tight CL16 timings, it is a well-matched, responsive pairing for the Ryzen platform, keeping quick answers flowing to the processor.
1TB NVMe M.2 SSD
Windows boots in seconds and games load in a fraction of the time an old hard drive would take. It gives you instant room for the OS plus your current rotation of favourite titles.
If you fill it, the board has an additional high-speed storage slot ready to take a second drive, so growing your library later is a simple add rather than a swap.
Dual-Chamber Panoramic Case
Rather than hide the build behind a solid front, this chassis wraps it in seamless glass, giving the multi-fan, dual-chamber look normally reserved for far pricier systems.
Cabling and the power supply live in a separate rear chamber, keeping the main compartment clean, airy and easy to look at. It is designed to sit proudly on top of a desk, not tucked away underneath one.
Corsair CX650 650W
Steady, dependable power for everything above, with an 80 PLUS Bronze rating that keeps waste and heat down under sustained loads.
Corsair's thermal engineering means this runs quietly rather than working overtime, and there's enough headroom in the 650W rating to support future upgrades without needing a new supply.

What Can It Run?
The BattleBox Pro 121 pairs the AMD Ryzen 7 5700X with NVIDIA's Blackwell-generation RTX 5060, a combination aimed squarely at players who want a smooth, high-refresh 1080p experience and a genuine step up into 1440p, all on a sensible budget. The 5700X does its job inside a modest 65W power envelope, keeping the whole system cool and quiet even under sustained load.
In competitive esports titles this build genuinely shines. Valorant, Counter-Strike 2 and Fortnite all run at frame rates well beyond what a 144Hz or 240Hz monitor can display, which is exactly the point: steady, predictable frames rather than a number chasing exercise.
Step up to heavier, more cinematic games and the RTX 5060 continues to deliver a smooth, stable experience at Medium to High settings, calling on DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation where a game supports it to keep frame rates comfortably high without dropping the detail level.
With 16GB of DDR4 memory on hand, your game, Discord and a browser full of tabs run together without a fight for room, and the 1TB NVMe drive keeps boot times and load times short across your current library of titles.
Outside of gaming, the combination of the Ryzen 7 5700X and 16GB of memory makes this a capable everyday machine too, handling browsing, office work and general multitasking with ease.
FPS Benchmarks
Typical average frame rates for this configuration at 1080p. Ranges rather than single numbers, because a busy scene and a quiet one are not the same test.

|---|---|---|
| ValorantEsports | Competitive preset | 200+ FPS |
| Counter-Strike 2Esports | Competitive preset | 140+ FPS |
| FortniteBattle Royale | Performance mode | 160+ FPS |
| Apex LegendsBattle Royale | Medium / High | 95+ FPS |
| Call of Duty: WarzoneBattle Royale | Basic + DLSS On | 75+ FPS |
| Grand Theft Auto VOpen World | Very High | 85+ FPS |
Indicative figures based on published testing for this GPU class. Actual performance varies with game version, drivers, settings and scene.
