BattleBox Pro 5Gaming PC
A perfectly balanced, next-generation gaming and productivity build, pairing the Intel Core Ultra 5 245KF with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060, cooled by a 240mm RGB liquid loop inside a compact, high-airflow mid-tower chassis.
Combining Intel's Arrow Lake processing architecture with NVIDIA's Blackwell graphics ecosystem, this system commands high-tier 1080p and smooth 1440p gaming without the enthusiast price tag. Built, tested and backed by our expert technicians here in the UK.
Inside the Build
No filler parts and no surprises. Here is what each piece does and why it is in here.
Intel Core Ultra 5 245KF
14 cores split across 6 Performance and 8 Efficient cores, boosting up to 5.2GHz with 24MB of cache, built on Intel's Arrow Lake architecture.
This generation drops traditional hyper-threading in favour of much larger per-clock gains and far better thermal behaviour, so whether you are gaming, streaming or juggling a heavy daily workload, the system stays snappy and responsive without needing to work overly hard to get there.
GeForce RTX 5060 8GB
This is the part that draws the picture. Built on NVIDIA's Blackwell architecture with 8GB of dedicated GDDR6 memory, it is an exceptional powerhouse for modern PC gaming.
Fourth-generation Ray Tracing Cores handle realistic lighting, shadows and reflections, while fifth-generation Tensor Cores drive DLSS 4 neural rendering. That means AI intelligently multiplies your frame rates while keeping the picture crystal clear.
240mm RGB Liquid Cooler
A premium closed liquid loop paired with high-performance thermal paste, moving heat away from the processor faster and more consistently than any air cooler this size.
That keeps the Core Ultra 5 running at peak efficiency and whisper-quiet even under the most intense gaming workloads, while the fully customisable RGB lighting gives the build a striking, modern look.
GIGABYTE B860 GAMING X WIFI6E
The board everything plugs into, and a robust foundation for this configuration. It fully unlocks the bandwidth of next-generation DDR5 memory running at a fast 5600MHz, eliminating micro-stutters during heavy multitasking.
Built-in WiFi 6E and an ultra-fast 2.5GbE wired LAN interface help eliminate online gaming lag, and there is plenty of expansion room for future storage and component upgrades.
16GB DDR5 at 5600MHz
Next-generation memory built for massive bandwidth and rapid data processing. 16GB is the sweet spot for gaming and everyday multitasking, running your game, Discord and a browser full of tabs without a fight for room.
Running at a blazing-fast 5600MHz, it eliminates stuttering in demanding titles and gives you the competitive edge where it actually matters.
1TB NVMe M.2 SSD
Windows fires up in seconds and modern open-world games stream assets smoothly without stuttering, thanks to next-generation PCIe NVMe technology running directly over the motherboard's high-speed lanes.
It offers the perfect balance of rapid responsiveness and essential storage capacity, with an open high-speed storage slot ready if you want to add more room later.
NZXT H5 Flow Mid-Tower
A compact, high-airflow tempered glass case with a perforated front panel designed to keep every component running cool without letting noise creep up.
It is a space-saving footprint that still shows off the build through glass, striking the right balance between a tidy desk setup and a system you actually want to look at.
Corsair CX650 650W
Steady, dependable power for everything above, with an 80 PLUS Bronze rating that keeps waste and heat down under sustained loads.
Corsair's thermal engineering means this runs quietly rather than working overtime, and there's enough headroom in the 650W rating to support future upgrades without needing a new supply.

What Can It Run?
Take your gaming, streaming and content creation to the limit with the BattleBox Pro 5. Armed with the next-generation NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 and the hyper-efficient Intel Core Ultra 5 processor, this machine dominates today's heaviest AAA titles at high-framerate 1080p and smooth 1440p resolutions. Advanced DLSS 4 AI acceleration and next-gen ray reconstruction bring cinematic, real-time ray tracing while keeping gameplay ultra-fluid for competitive esports.
In competitive esports titles this build genuinely shines. Valorant, Counter-Strike 2 and Fortnite all run at frame rates well beyond what a 144Hz or 240Hz monitor can display, which is exactly the point: steady, predictable frames rather than a number chasing exercise.
Step up to heavier, more cinematic games such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Black Myth: Wukong or Cyberpunk 2077, and the RTX 5060 continues to deliver a smooth, stable experience, calling on DLSS 4 to keep frame rates comfortably high without dropping the detail level.
With 16GB of high-speed DDR5 memory on hand, your game, Discord and a browser full of tabs run together without a fight for room, and the 1TB NVMe drive keeps boot times and load times short across your current library of titles.
Outside of gaming, the combination of the Core Ultra 5 and 16GB of DDR5 memory makes this a capable everyday machine too, handling browsing, office work and general multitasking with ease.
FPS Benchmarks
Typical average frame rates for this configuration at 1080p. Ranges rather than single numbers, because a busy scene and a quiet one are not the same test.
| Game Title | Settings | Avg. FPS |
|---|---|---|
| Counter-Strike 2Esports | Competitive | 280+ FPS |
| ValorantEsports | Competitive | 350+ FPS |
| FortniteBattle Royale | Epic / DLSS On | 130+ FPS |
| Call of Duty: Black Ops 6FPS | Balanced / DLSS On | 145+ FPS |
| Black Myth: WukongAction RPG | High / Frame Gen On | 95+ FPS |
| Cyberpunk 2077Open World | Ultra / DLSS 4 On | 110+ FPS |
Indicative figures based on published testing for this GPU class. Actual performance varies with game version, drivers, settings and scene.
