BattleBox Pro TitaniumRTX 5090 32GB · Ryzen 7 9800X3D
The build for people who want the fastest graphics card there is without paying for cores they will never use in a game. The Palit GameRock GeForce RTX 5090 32GB pairs with the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, which remains the quickest gaming processor money can buy, cooled by a 360mm DeepCool Mystique ARGB loop.
32GB of Team T-Force Delta RGB DDR5-6000 and a Samsung 990 Pro 2TB NVMe sit behind it, all inside the dual-chamber HYTE Y40 with tempered glass on two sides. Assembled, stress tested and backed by our technicians here in the UK.
Inside the Build
No filler parts and no surprises. Here is what each piece does and why it is in here.
AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
Eight cores, sixteen threads and 144MB of total cache thanks to AMD's 3D V-Cache, built on Zen 5.
This chip is in here for one reason: it is the fastest gaming processor available, and it is not close. The stacked cache keeps game data next to the cores so the chip is not waiting on memory, which flattens the frame-time spikes that make a high frame rate feel uneven. Pairing it with a 5090 means the graphics card is genuinely the limit, which is the whole point of a build like this.
Palit GameRock RTX 5090 32GB
This is the part that draws the picture, and there is nothing above it. NVIDIA's Blackwell architecture with 21,760 CUDA cores, 680 tensor cores and 170 RT cores, plus 32GB of GDDR7 on a 512-bit bus for 1.79 TB/s of bandwidth.
That bandwidth and frame buffer are what make native 4K and 8K realistic rather than aspirational. Full ray tracing runs without the card running short of memory, and DLSS 4 reconstructs frames and generates the ones in between, so maximum settings and a high refresh rate stop being a trade-off.
DeepCool Mystique 360 ARGB
A 360mm closed liquid loop with three ARGB fans on the radiator. Coolant carries heat away from the processor and out of the case rather than recirculating it inside.
The 9800X3D runs hot in a small area because of the stacked cache sitting on top of the cores, so radiator surface area matters more here than on a standard chip. 360mm is enough that the fans can stay at low speed and the processor still holds its boost through a long session. Premium thermal paste is applied by hand on every build.
GIGABYTE X870 Gaming X WIFI7
The board everything plugs into. A 16+2+2 digital power stage design on the AMD X870 chipset, which is what keeps voltages steady when a 5090 and an X3D chip both draw hard at once.
PCIe 5.0 for the graphics card and the primary drive, four DDR5 slots with EXPO support and headroom well past the fitted kit, and multiple M.2 slots including a Gen 5 one. Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and 2.5GbE wired networking are all built in, plus USB4 on the rear.
32GB Team T-Force Delta RGB DDR5-6000
Two 16GB modules running at 6000MHz in dual channel, which is the speed the AM5 platform is happiest with. One click in the BIOS via the EXPO profile and it runs at rated speed rather than the slower default.
32GB is enough to play, stream, capture and leave a browser full of tabs open with nothing fighting for room, and enough for most video and 3D work alongside. The RGB diffusers and heat spreaders are visible through the glass and can be synced with the rest of the lighting or switched off entirely.
Samsung 990 Pro 2TB NVMe
Reads at up to 7,450 MB/s and writes at up to 6,900 MB/s, which is about as fast as a PCIe 4.0 drive gets. Windows boots in seconds and open world titles stream scenery in as you move, so textures do not fill in when you turn a corner quickly.
Samsung's controller and thermal management are the reason this drive is specified rather than a cheaper one: it holds those speeds during sustained writes instead of dropping off after the first few gigabytes. 2TB is room for a large library, and the board has spare M.2 slots including a Gen 5 one if you want more later.
HYTE Y40 Black
A dual-chamber ATX mid-tower with wrap-around tempered glass across the front and side, and no corner pillar interrupting the view.
The dual-chamber layout puts the power supply and cabling in a separate compartment behind the motherboard tray, which does two things: it keeps the airflow path to the components clear, and it means the side you look at stays clean. There is clearance for a 360mm radiator and for a card the length of the GameRock 5090, which not every mid-tower can claim.
ASUS ROG Strix 1200W Platinum
Clean, steady power with an 80 PLUS Platinum rating, so very little of what comes out of the wall is wasted as heat.
The reason for 1200W is not the average draw, it is the spikes. An RTX 5090 pulls in short bursts well above its rated figure, and a supply not built for those transients is where instability in high-end systems usually starts. Native PCIe 5.1 connectors, fully modular cables so only what this build uses is fitted, and an axial-tech fan that stays off entirely at light loads.

What Can It Run?
Everything, at native 4K, with the settings sliders where the developer put them. Pairing the fastest gaming processor with the fastest graphics card removes the usual bottleneck argument entirely: whatever frame rate the RTX 5090 can produce, the 9800X3D can feed it, so nothing is left on the table at any resolution.
In competitive titles the machine stops being part of the equation. Counter-Strike 2, Valorant, Apex Legends and Fortnite run at native 4K past what any panel on sale can display, and this is exactly where the X3D cache shows: the frame times stay even, so the movement feels consistent rather than merely fast.
The heavy releases are where the 5090 earns its place. Cyberpunk 2077 with path tracing, Alan Wake 2 at maximum and Black Myth: Wukong on the cinematic preset all play at 4K with the lighting model fully switched on, using DLSS 4 to hold the frame rate up rather than turning detail down. 8K is realistic in a good number of titles too.
With 32GB of DDR5-6000 and the 990 Pro underneath it, nothing has to be closed to make room. Game, stream, capture, Discord and a browser full of tabs coexist without the system starting to stutter, and load times stay short across a full library.
Away from games it doubles as a strong workstation. The 32GB frame buffer holds large local AI models entirely in VRAM, Blender and Unreal Engine 5 renders finish quickly, and DaVinci Resolve handles multi-track 4K and 8K timelines comfortably. If your work is heavily multi-threaded rather than graphics-bound, our team can talk you through a higher core-count processor on the same platform.
FPS Benchmarks
Typical average frame rates for this configuration at native 4K. A busy scene and a quiet one are not the same test, so treat these as the shape of the performance rather than a fixed number.

Frequently Asked Questions
What resolution is this PC designed for?
Native 4K at maximum settings with ray tracing on, and 8K in a good number of titles. Competitive games run far beyond what any current monitor can display, so in practice your panel becomes the limit rather than the system. It is equally happy driving a 4K 240Hz display or an ultrawide.
Why an 8-core processor with a graphics card this powerful?
Because in games, cache matters more than core count. The 9800X3D's 3D V-Cache makes it the fastest gaming processor available, ahead of chips with twice the cores, so it feeds the RTX 5090 as fast as anything on the market can. If your work is heavily multi-threaded rather than graphics-bound, such as large-scale rendering or compiling, our team can spec a higher core-count chip on the same AM5 board instead.
Does the graphics card support ray tracing and DLSS?
Yes, at the highest level currently available. The RTX 5090 has 170 dedicated RT cores for full path tracing and 680 tensor cores running DLSS 4 with multi frame generation. The 32GB GDDR7 frame buffer on a 512-bit bus is what allows all of that to run at 4K and 8K without the card running short of memory.
Is 32GB of memory enough for a build at this level?
For gaming, streaming and most creative work, yes comfortably. 32GB at DDR5-6000 leaves plenty of headroom alongside a game, capture software and a full browser. The motherboard has four DIMM slots, so upgrading to 64GB later is straightforward, and we can fit it before the build ships if you would prefer.
Is 2TB of storage enough, and can I add more?
2TB on a 990 Pro holds Windows plus a substantial game library with room for project files. If you need more later, the GIGABYTE X870 board has additional M.2 slots including a PCIe 5.0 one, plus SATA ports, so adding drives is simple.
How loud is it under load?
Quieter than the specification suggests. The 360mm radiator gives the cooling loop an easy job so the fans move a lot of air at low speed, the dual-chamber case keeps the airflow path clear, and the ROG Strix supply runs with its fan off at light loads. Expect it to be clearly audible under a sustained 4K load, not intrusive during normal use.
Does this PC support Wi-Fi and Bluetooth?
Yes. The GIGABYTE X870 Gaming X WIFI7 includes Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 with external antennas supplied, plus a 2.5GbE Ethernet port if you would rather use a cable for the lowest possible ping.
Can I upgrade the PC in the future?
Yes. Everything in here is a standard part. The AM5 socket takes future AMD processors, there are spare M.2 slots and two free DIMM slots, and the 1200W supply has headroom for anything that comes next. The dual-chamber case also makes getting to components straightforward.
Does the PC include RGB lighting?
Yes. The memory kit and the three radiator fans all have addressable RGB, visible through the wrap-around tempered glass. Lighting can be adjusted, synchronised across components or switched off entirely using the supplied software.
Does the PC come with Windows installed?
Yes. Windows 11 Professional is pre-installed, configured and tested before dispatch, so your system is ready to use immediately. A 1 metre UK power cable is included in the box.
How is the PC tested before shipping?
Every BattleBox Pro Titanium goes through a full build and quality assurance process. This includes BIOS updates, EXPO memory profile validation, cable management, extended thermal and stress testing with the CPU and GPU loaded together, driver installation and a final inspection before the system is carefully packaged for delivery.
What warranty is included?
The BattleBox Pro Titanium includes a 3 Year Standard Warranty, consisting of:
- 1 Year Collect & Return
- 1 Year Parts Warranty
- 3 Years Labour Warranty
- Lifetime Technical Support
Can I customise the specification before ordering?
Yes. If you require additional memory, more storage, a different processor or other hardware changes, our team can customise the BattleBox Pro Titanium to suit your exact requirements before it is built.
