Sword V2 TiAffordable Gaming, Reimagined
Why choose between a boring black box and breaking the bank? The Sword V2 Ti delivers very high frame rate 1080p gaming and confident 1440p play, with extra muscle for streaming and creative work, at a price that stays firmly grounded.
Everything sits inside a striking dual-chamber panoramic glass chassis that gives you the show-stopping, multi-fan look of a flagship rig. Assembled, stress tested and backed by our technicians here in the UK.
The Story of the Sword Series
UK gamers were stuck choosing between stunning glass showpieces with flagship price tags and dull budget boxes with no personality. At House of Computers, we built the Sword Series to close that gap: high-end style with smart, sensible performance, made to sit proudly on your desk.
Inside the Build
No filler parts and no surprises. Here is what each piece does and why it is in here.
AMD Ryzen 7 5700X
Eight cores and sixteen threads on AMD's proven Zen 3 architecture, with 32MB of L3 cache and a boost clock of up to 4.6GHz, all inside an efficient 65W power envelope.
Six cores cover most games today, so the extra two give the 5700X real breathing room. It keeps the RTX 5060 Ti properly fed at 1080p and 1440p while leaving spare capacity for streaming, Discord, a browser full of tabs or a video export running in the background. The 5700X has no built-in graphics, which is why it sits alongside a dedicated card.
GeForce RTX 5060 Ti
This is the part that draws the picture, and the Ti is a clear step up. Built on NVIDIA's Blackwell architecture with more processing cores than the standard RTX 5060 and fast GDDR7 video memory, it pushes very high frame rates at 1080p and handles 1440p gaming with confidence.
It brings the full RTX feature set with real headroom. Ray tracing cores handle realistic lighting, shadows and reflections, while DLSS 4 renders at a lower resolution, rebuilds the image sharp with AI and generates extra frames, so demanding games stay smooth at higher resolutions without dropping the detail.
Valkyrie Dragonfang 240
A closed liquid loop. The pump sits inside the cooling block, pushing coolant through a 240mm aluminium radiator where two Valkyrie X12 ARGB fans carry the heat straight out of the case.
Valkyrie's high-speed pump runs up to 2600RPM and the X12 fans move up to 80 CFM while staying around 29 dBA at their loudest, so the eight-core Ryzen 7 5700X holds its boost clocks through long sessions while the system stays cool and quiet. The ARGB pump top rotates to suit the build and lights up alongside the rest of the Sword's glass showcase. Thermal paste is applied by hand on every build.
ASUS TUF GAMING A520M-PLUS WIFI
The board everything plugs into. ASUS's TUF line is built for durability, with military-grade components, a large VRM heatsink and 2oz copper layers that keep the power delivery cool and stable on AMD's AM4 platform.
The graphics card sits in a full-length PCIe x16 slot and the system drive in a PCIe 3.0 x4 M.2 slot, with four SATA ports free for extra drives later. Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 are built in with antennas supplied, and TUF LANGuard Gigabit Ethernet is there for when you want a wired connection. Aura Sync RGB headers tie the lighting together.
32GB DDR4 at 3200MHz
Memory is where the game keeps everything it might need in the next few seconds. 32GB gives you room to spare, so you can game, stream, record and keep Discord and a stack of browser tabs open without anything slowing down.
Running at 3200MHz with tight CL16 timings, it is well matched to Ryzen's architecture, giving the processor quick answers and keeping multitasking snappy. It is also plenty for photo editing and video projects alongside your gaming.
1TB NVMe M.2 SSD
Windows boots in seconds and games load in a fraction of the time an older hard drive would take. Open world titles stream scenery in as you move, so you are not waiting on textures to fill in.
1TB is twice the space of a typical 500GB entry-level drive, enough for Windows plus a healthy library of your main games. If it ever fills up, the board's four SATA ports and the case's drive bays make adding a second SSD or hard drive quick and easy.
Vida Zephyr V2 Black
The reason the Sword looks like a flagship. A dual-chamber panoramic chassis with seamless glass panels, so the build is on show from the front and side rather than hidden behind a single window.
Moving the power supply and cabling into the rear chamber keeps the main compartment clean and the airflow clear, and the ARGB fan layout gives the multi-fan look of a far more expensive rig. It is built to sit proudly on top of your desk, not tucked away beneath it.
Corsair CX650 650W
Clean, steady power for everything above from one of the most trusted names in PC power, with an 80 PLUS Bronze efficiency rating.
650W gives the Ryzen 7 5700X and RTX 5060 Ti comfortable headroom, so the supply is never working at its limit, and its low-noise 120mm fan stays quiet under normal gaming loads. It also leaves room for a graphics card upgrade later.

What Can It Run?
The Sword V2 Ti puts AMD's eight-core Ryzen 7 5700X behind NVIDIA's RTX 5060 Ti, a pairing built for very high refresh rate 1080p gaming and smooth, high-detail 1440p play.
In competitive titles this is where the Sword shines. Valorant, Counter-Strike 2, Fortnite and Apex Legends all run comfortably past what a 144Hz monitor can display on competitive settings, which keeps motion clear and your aim consistent.
Step up to the heavier releases and the RTX 5060 Ti does the work. Modern AAA and open-world games play smoothly at 1080p on high settings and comfortably at 1440p, and DLSS 4 with frame generation lifts the frame rate further in supported titles without turning the detail down.
With 32GB of DDR4 3200MHz memory and a 1TB NVMe drive, Windows is quick, games load fast, there is room for a proper game library, and you can stream, record and keep Discord and a browser open alongside a game without the system struggling.
Outside of games, those eight cores make it a genuinely capable machine for streaming your gameplay, school and work, photo editing and 1080p video projects.
FPS Benchmarks
Estimated average frame rates for the AMD Ryzen 7 5700X and RTX 5060 Ti at 1080p. A busy scene and a quiet one are not the same test, so treat these as the shape of the performance rather than a fixed number.

Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of gaming performance can I expect from this PC?
The Sword V2 Ti is built for very high frame rate 1080p gaming and smooth 1440p play. Competitive titles like Valorant, Fortnite and Counter-Strike 2 run well past 144Hz on competitive settings, and heavier cinematic and open-world games play smoothly at high settings, with DLSS 4 available to push the frame rate higher.
Why an eight-core Ryzen 7 5700X?
Most games run well on six cores, so the extra two give you headroom rather than bottlenecks. With 16 threads and an up to 4.6GHz boost, the 5700X keeps the RTX 5060 Ti fed at 1080p and 1440p and still has capacity left for streaming, recording, Discord and heavier multitasking alongside a game, which makes it a strong choice if you create as well as play.
Why does the Ryzen 7 5700X need a separate graphics card?
The Ryzen 7 5700X has no integrated graphics. That is not a drawback here, because every Sword V2 Ti ships with a dedicated GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, which is far more powerful than any built-in graphics. Just make sure your monitor is plugged into the graphics card rather than the motherboard.
Why a Valkyrie Dragonfang 240 liquid cooler?
A 240mm liquid cooler gives the eight-core Ryzen 7 5700X plenty of cooling capacity, so it holds its boost clocks during long sessions while the fans stay slow and quiet. The Dragonfang pairs a high-speed pump with two Valkyrie X12 ARGB fans, and its rotatable ARGB pump top suits the panoramic glass look of the Sword.
Does this graphics card support Ray Tracing and DLSS?
Yes. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti has dedicated ray tracing cores for realistic lighting, shadows and reflections, plus tensor cores that run NVIDIA DLSS 4. DLSS uses AI to upscale your games and generate extra frames, giving a large boost to frame rates without losing image sharpness.
Is the system Wi-Fi enabled right out of the box?
Yes. The ASUS TUF GAMING A520M-PLUS WIFI motherboard has built-in Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and Bluetooth 5.0, with external antennas supplied for strong signal reception. There is also a TUF LANGuard Gigabit Ethernet port if you would rather use a cable.
Is 1TB NVMe storage enough, and can I add more later?
1TB gives you fast boot times and room for Windows plus a good selection of your favourite games. Some modern AAA titles take up 100GB or more each, so if you keep a very large library installed you may want more space. The motherboard has four SATA ports and the case has drive bays, so adding a second SSD or a hard drive later is simple.
How big is the Vida Zephyr V2 case?
It measures roughly 432 x 277 x 372 mm, a compact footprint designed to sit on your desk and show off the build through its panoramic glass. The dual-chamber layout keeps the power supply and cabling out of sight in the rear compartment.
Can I control the RGB lighting?
Yes. The case fans and the Valkyrie Dragonfang's ARGB pump top and fans can be tied together through the motherboard's Aura Sync headers, so you can change colours and effects from Windows to match your setup.
Can I upgrade the PC in the future?
Yes. Everything in here is a standard part. The AM4 socket supports other Ryzen 5000 Series processors, the board has four memory slots for adding more RAM, there are four SATA ports for extra storage, and the 650W power supply leaves headroom for a graphics card upgrade.
Does the PC come with Windows installed?
Yes. Windows 11 is pre-installed, configured and tested before dispatch, so your system is ready to use immediately.
How is the PC tested before shipping?
Every Sword V2 Ti goes through a full build and quality assurance process. This includes BIOS updates where applicable, cable management, thermal testing, hardware stress testing, driver installation and a final inspection before the system is carefully packaged for delivery.
What warranty is included?
The Sword V2 Ti includes a 3 Year Standard Warranty, consisting of:
- 1 Year Collect & Return
- 1 Year Parts Warranty
- 3 Years Labour Warranty
- Lifetime Technical Support
Can I customise the specification before ordering?
Yes. If you would like more RAM, larger storage, a different graphics card or other upgrades, our team can customise the Sword V2 Ti to suit your exact requirements before it is built.
Why choose House of Computers?
Every Sword system is built by expert technicians in the UK using genuine components from leading manufacturers. Each PC is professionally assembled, fully stress tested, quality checked and securely packaged so it arrives ready to perform from day one.
