Built around the AMD B850 chipset, this motherboard offers access to current DDR5 memory, PCIe 5.0 expansion and high-speed NVMe storage technologies. Its 5+2+2 phase digital VRM design helps provide clean and consistent processor power for gaming, multitasking and demanding multi-threaded workloads.
The compact 24.4 × 24.4 cm Micro ATX form factor fits compatible compact and full-sized PC cases. Fan, water-cooling pump and RGB headers provide useful flexibility for system cooling and visual customisation, while Q-Flash Plus simplifies supported BIOS updates.
Advanced DDR5 Memory and Storage Acceleration
Four DDR5 DIMM sockets support up to 256 GB of dual-channel system memory, with a maximum supported capacity of 64 GB per slot. Compatible overclocked memory modules can operate at speeds reaching DDR5 8200 MT/s, depending on the installed processor and memory configuration.
AMD EXPO and Intel XMP memory profile support helps simplify the configuration of compatible high-performance modules. This provides greater memory bandwidth for gaming, content creation, multitasking and other data-intensive desktop workloads.
Two CPU-connected M.2 connectors provide high-speed NVMe storage. PCIe 5.0 Expansion and Flexible I/O Connectivity
The main CPU-connected PCIe x16 slot supports PCIe 5.0 x16 operation with compatible AMD Ryzen 9000 and 7000 Series processors, providing high bandwidth for modern discrete graphics cards. Ryzen 8000 Series processors operate the slot at PCIe 4.0 x8 or x4, depending on the processor architecture.
A second full-length expansion slot operates at PCIe 3.0 x4 bandwidth through the chipset, making it suitable for compatible capture cards, storage adapters, network cards and other expansion devices.
