The GIGABYTE G27Q2 is a 27-inch QHD gaming monitor engineered to combine detailed 2560 × 1440 resolution with the speed required for modern competitive gaming. Its Super Speed IPS (SS-IPS) panel delivers the wide viewing characteristics and vibrant colour reproduction associated with IPS technology while providing significantly faster pixel response for high-motion gameplay.
A maximum refresh rate of up to 200Hz works alongside an ultra-responsive 1ms GtG response time to produce fluid frame transitions with reduced ghosting and motion blur. This combination is particularly valuable in competitive shooters, racing titles and fast-paced action games where clearer movement and responsive visual feedback can enhance the overall gaming experience.
The panel supports up to 1.07 billion colours with 95% DCI-P3 and 128% sRGB colour gamut coverage, delivering rich and vibrant reproduction across gaming, entertainment and creative applications. HDR10 support and typical brightness of approximately 350 cd/m² further enhance compatible content with improved highlights, colour depth and visual detail.
Seamless Synchronization & Versatile Connectivity
The G27Q2 supports both NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and AMD FreeSync Premium technologies, allowing the monitor’s refresh behaviour to synchronise with compatible graphics hardware. This helps minimise screen tearing, visible stuttering and inconsistent frame delivery during rapidly changing gameplay.
Display connectivity includes one DisplayPort 1.4 input and two HDMI 2.0 connections, allowing gaming PCs, consoles and other compatible video sources to remain connected simultaneously. The selection makes it easy to switch between multiple gaming and entertainment devices without repeatedly changing display cables.
USB Type-C connectivity adds DisplayPort Alternate Mode for compatible laptops and supports up to 15W USB Power Delivery. An integrated USB 2.0 hub provides additional peripheral connectivity, while the dedicated headphone output makes it straightforward to connect a gaming headset or external audio equipment directly to the monitor.

The ergonomic desktop stand provides up to 130mm of height adjustment, tilt movement from approximately -5° to +21° and swivel adjustment up to approximately 15°. This flexibility allows the screen to be positioned according to desk height, seating position and individual viewing preferences.
Full 90-degree pivot capability also allows the monitor to be rotated into portrait orientation for coding, document editing, streaming dashboards and other vertically oriented workflows. Standard 100 × 100 mm VESA mounting compatibility provides additional installation flexibility with compatible monitor arms and wall-mounting solutions.
