Professional 24-Port PoE+ Switching for CCTV & Business Networks

The TP-Link TL-SL1226P is a professional unmanaged PoE+ switch designed for surveillance systems, offices, small businesses and other networks requiring reliable power and data delivery to a large number of devices. It provides 24 × 10/100Mbps PoE+ RJ45 ports, two Gigabit RJ45 uplink ports and two combo Gigabit SFP slots. With a total 250W PoE budget, support for up to 30W per PoE+ port and Extend Mode transmission up to 250 metres, it is particularly well suited to large CCTV installations using IP cameras.

24 Dedicated PoE+ Ethernet Ports

The TL-SL1226P provides 24 × 10/100Mbps RJ45 ports with IEEE 802.3af/at PoE+. Each compatible PoE+ port can provide up to 30W, allowing the switch to power IP cameras, access points, IP phones and other supported powered devices directly through the Ethernet cable.

High 250W PoE Power Budget

With a combined 250W PoE power budget, the TL-SL1226P can supply power to numerous compatible devices simultaneously. IEEE 802.3at PoE+ support provides up to 30W per individual port, making the switch suitable for installations with multiple IP cameras and other higher-power network devices.

250m Extend Mode

Extend PoE power and data transmission to as far as 250 metres for compatible surveillance deployments.

Priority Mode

Ports 1–8 can receive higher priority to help maintain important surveillance traffic.

Isolation Mode

One-click client isolation helps improve network security and reduce unwanted broadcast traffic.

Dual Gigabit RJ45 Uplink Ports

Two 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit RJ45 ports provide high-speed uplink connectivity to NVRs, routers, servers or other switches. These dedicated uplinks help aggregate traffic generated by multiple connected IP cameras without restricting the uplink connection to Fast Ethernet speeds.

Combo Gigabit SFP Connectivity

Two combo Gigabit SFP slots provide additional deployment flexibility where fibre connectivity is required. Supported multimode or single-mode SFP transceivers can be used for longer-distance backbone connections between network cabinets, buildings or other suitable infrastructure.

Up to 250m PoE Extend Mode

In standard mode, Ethernet transmission operates at normal supported distances. When Extend Mode is enabled, supported PoE ports can carry power and data as far as approximately 250 metres, making the switch especially useful for large CCTV installations such as warehouses, parking areas, factories and commercial buildings.

Priority Mode for Critical Cameras

Priority Mode gives ports 1–8 higher transmission priority, helping maintain the quality of sensitive applications such as video surveillance when overall network traffic is high. This feature can be particularly useful for prioritising important security cameras.

One-Click Isolation Mode

Isolation Mode separates traffic between ports 1–24, helping prevent direct communication between connected clients while still allowing access to uplink resources. This can improve surveillance-network security and help reduce broadcast-related performance issues.

PoE Auto Recovery

Current hardware revisions add PoE Auto Recovery, which can detect supported powered devices that stop responding and automatically cycle PoE power to help restore operation. This can reduce the need to manually restart remote IP cameras or access points.

Intelligent PoE Power Management

Intelligent power-management technology monitors overall PoE consumption. If connected devices attempt to exceed the available power budget, the switch can manage lower-priority ports to protect high-priority powered devices and prevent operation beyond the available PoE capacity.

Reliable Store-and-Forward Switching

The TL-SL1226P provides an 8.8Gbps switching capacity, approximately 6.54 Mpps packet-forwarding performance and an 8K MAC address table. Store-and-forward switching, IEEE 802.3x flow control and MAC address auto-learning help provide stable everyday network operation.

Professional 1U Rackmount Design

With dimensions of approximately 440 × 180 × 44mm, the switch uses a standard 1U rackmount format. Mounting brackets and fittings are supplied, making it suitable for installation inside network cabinets, CCTV racks and professional communications rooms.

Simple Unmanaged Operation

The TL-SL1226P is an unmanaged switch, so standard network operation requires no software configuration. Connect compatible devices and network uplinks, apply power and the switch automatically handles basic Ethernet forwarding and PoE detection.
